Startups, Tests, Training Courses

One of the final stages of the project implementation is the startup of an installation. A startup is performed jointly by our designers and software developers.

The startup process is divided into several stages:

• Startup of electrical systems (checks of rotation directions, correct operation of sensors, valves and other equipment)
• I/O tests (input/output checks)
• Programming of programmable machines (inverters, sensors, specialized devices, calibration of measuring and weighing systems with adequate calibration protocols)
• Completing ‘drive sheets’ and ‘programmable machine sheets’
• Functional startup of production line machine groups or a part of a machine
• Functional startup of the entire production line
• ‘Dry’ tests - without a product
• ‘Wet’ tests - with a product

The final stage of the startup is the hand-over of the system to operation and the delivery of the as-built documentation of the control system including operation and maintenance manuals of apparatuses and components. The hand-over to operation is preceded by training courses concerning the system operation which are confirmed with suitable reports and by the delivery of the complete operation manual of a given control system.

After the completion of the startup and the hand-over to operation we often provide clients with support services - our engineers stay at the facility in order to assist staff at regular production operations.
