PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
complete control system for the Calender Line for manufacture of the prefabricated products in the form of ply and liner (rubber)
RESULTS:
- complete design of Control and Measurement Instruments and automation and of Calender Line power supply system
- membership in the international team for software development and conducting commissioning of the entire line
- delivery of the complete power supply control cabinets with the power of 800 kW and 160 kW, 5 control panels, 6 control cassettes, 9 terminal boxes with remote safety input output modules
- performance of the complete electrical installations in the building
- integration of specialized centering and thickness measurement tools
- owing to the complete modernization of the control system the Calender Line is currently one of the most modern lines of this type in Poland; the production line is important factor of independence from external deliveries of prefabricated elements and hence of optimization of production costs
SOLUTIONS:
allen Bradley GuardLogix control - operation of almost 500 inputs/outputs and over 300 safety inputs/outputs, ControlNet network, 23 Rockwell automation PowerFlex 70 and 700S series converters – having Safe-Off safety functions, DeviceNet network, 35 motor starters (indirect starting) with electronic overload relays and 21 1791DS series distributed safety input output modules, three allen Bradley operator panels connected with Ethernet network
