We Broaden Our Knowledge: Next PMI Seminar ...

On behalf of the PMI Poznań we invite you to participate in the next PMI seminar, that will already be held in two weeks - on the last Thursday of the month - April 28th, 2011, at 6 p.m. in the building of the Instytut Logistyki i Magazynowania at ul. Estkowskiego 6 in Poznaniu. Participation is free of charge.

Speakers:

Tomasz Mnich - a recognized organization development consultant. He affected the work of over 3200 employees of over 50 organizations including IBM, TNT, Amgen and QXL. For 11 years he has worked for the organizational development of companies in the USA, Western and Eastern Europe markets. He worked as an executive in Roche, AIG, Credit Agricole and Getin International

The speaker will try to answer the following questions:

• What attitudes and values characterize a leader?
• May a project manager be a leader in an organization?
• How to reconcile goal orientation with the focus on people?
• What tools and techniques of personal development help to become a leader?

Marta Sziłajtis-Obiełgo - a yacht captain, the youngest 23 year old Pole who sailed around the world alone. She was merely 23 years old when she began this amazing adventure to fulfill her dreams. When sailing around the world she visited such fascinating places as: Venezuela, the Galapagos Islands, Bora Bora, the Kingdom of Tonga, Vanuatu, Australia, Mauritius, RSA and many others. Marta finished her voyage in Puerto la Cruz and at the same time she became the youngest Polish woman and one of a few women worldwide who met this great challenge.

At the April seminar she will deal with the issues of Risk management in the ocean and the management of the comprehensive project of sailing around the globe.
