We Broaden Our Knowledge: PMI Seminar - August 25th,2011 ...
On behalf of the PMI Poznań we invite you to participate in the next PMI seminar, that will be held on the last Thursday of the month - August 25th, 2011, at 6 p.m. in the building of the Instytut Logistyki i Magazynowania at ul. Estkowskiego 6 in Poznaniu. The participation is free of charge.
Information for holders of PMI certificates: The participation in the Seminar entitles to register 2 PDU (Professional Development Units).
The following topics will be discussed during the meeting:
1. Management and Leadership. "We Must Remember that we Manage People!"
Skills management aspects, vision and goals of an organization, how to motivate team members and how to effectively make changes in the organization will be presented. We will learn how to understand employee behavior and how to exploit their potential, to encourage their activity, inspire and bring out what is best.

Piotr Bosy represents Sandler Training Company. For many years he has helped entrepreneurs and managers in the management of staff for achieving more and more difficult goals and in an increasingly shorter time. He gained business coach skills while working for international companies.
2. Integrated Project Management in the Organization
How to manage projects in a multi-unit enterprise? What role should the project office assume and where should it be located? How to manage project portfolio? Finally, how to build project culture while a business manager and an IT manager present different approaches to projects? Answers to the above questions will be provided based on Polish company case studies including those of financial, communication and IT industries.

Since 2003 Maciej Bodych has been associated with Project Management Institute (PMI®), where he held the position of the President of the Warsaw Branch, the President of the PMI Poland Chapter and the Chairman of the Association Audit Committee. Since 2010 he has been employed in the headquarters of PMI® (USA), where he is responsible for the development of PMI® in Eastern Europe.
