The first part of the meeting will be devoted to the discussion of matters which you need or want to deal with at work. This will be the time devoted to issues that particularly bother you in project management. It will be an excellent opportunity to discuss your specific matter with experts present in the meeting room.

We encourage you to provide proposals for topics to discuss in the registration form.

Scam, Scum or Sacrum? Scrum facing the reality.

The second part of the meeting will go to the heart of the Scrum method and emphasize departures  from its rules observed in practice. We will attempt to classify the reasons for these departures and we will try to suggest ways to avoid them.

Topics that will be discussed include:
  • fatal striving to gain confidence in circumstances very unfavorable to this,
  • temptation of control versus control required in Scrum.
  • cooperation and self-organization as well as omnipresent cascading that exists despite statements about its abandon.

Paradox of gradual degradation of the software quality will also be outlined, the paradox resulting directly form a culture of lack of permission to make mistakes.

The lecture will be given by Tomasz Włodarek, the Professional Scrum Trainer (PST), one of the most active and experienced Scrum trainers in Poland.

After the completion of the Seminar participants are invited to participate in the meeting of the PM Club.
